Super Fun 21 Blackjack Rules
Super Fun 21 is played with a deck of 52 cards. The cards are shuffled again after each game. All face cards have a value of 10, the cards from 2 to 10 have the corresponding numerical value. Aces are counted either with 1 or 11. If a hand, with the ace counted at 11, exceeded the total value of 21, the ace is automatically counts as 1. The player does not have to determine the value of the ace as it is always counted at the value that is best for the player’s hand. The value of a hand is the sum of the values of the individual cards. For example, a hand with a jack, a 3 and a 4, has the value of 17.
Your chips are stacked by denomination (1€, 5€, 25€, €100, €500) on the bottom of the screen above your name tag. Select the amount you wish to bet on a hand by clicking with the left mouse button on the respective button. The amount used per game can be increased or decreased by clicking with the mouse on the stack with the desired denomination that you can add or remove. Click with the left mouse button if you wish to increase your current bet or with the right mouse button to decrease the amount. You may repeat your last bet by simply clicking “0 (zero)” on the numeric keypad. Other keyboard shortcuts are listed below. If you choose a bet that is below the minimum table bet, your bet will automatically be increased to the minimum amount. At the beginning of each round you can bet on the Super Fun additional bet after shuffling.
Start of play:
As described above, the player places the bet on the table. Then the player is dealt two face up cards. The dealer also receives two cards, one face down and one face up. You can now choose in consideration of your hand between different actions. For this purpose, click with the left mouse button on the respective button:
Indicates that you are asking for another card. You cannot pick up another card if your cards have already exceeded the value of 21 or already have a value of 21, you already got 6 cards or you doubled down.
Indicates that you don’t want to pick up another card. The current value of your hand is compared to the dealer’s hand.
If your hand contains of a pair of cards, the “Split” button is activated. This option is only available immediately after you have received your first two cards. You can now split your hands between two hands and play each hand separately. Your initial bet is doubled for the new hand. Each hand is played according to the common rules.
You can split up to two times, i.e. play with a maximum of three hands. The respective card value is displayed for the currently active hand in a small white box. The splitting of aces is allowed; the same rules apply for all other splits: you can pick up, double down or stay. Just like as if there were two cards with the value of 8! Each successfully obtained 21, after splitting of a pair, will be paid out at 1 to 1.
The selection of this option has the following three effects: Your bet is doubled, you get another card and can choose if you want to give up or want to stay to continue the game.
You can double once regardless of the number of cards and at any time. After doubling you will automatically receive another card and after that you cannot pick up anymore.
As long as your card does not have a value of 21 or above and the dealer does not have a blackjack, you can give up. You will then receive half of your total bet. Otherwise you can give up at any time regardless of the number of cards.
If the revealed card of the dealer is an ace then the player has the option to opt for an insurance for half of his bet.
Click the “Insurance” button if you wish to opt for an insurance. If you do not want to opt for this option then click on the “Pass” button to continue with the game.
When finalizing an insurance bet de facto that the face down card of the dealer is a ten or face card, so the dealer has a blackjack.
If the face down dealer’s card actually has the value of 10, the player immediately gets a payout of 2 to 1 on the insurance but loses the original bet, unless he also has a blackjack and is tied with the dealer. If the dealer does not have a blackjack, the hand is played as usual and the player loses the insurance money he placed.
